If you have benn to Thailand, you might notice that in government building there is a bird-liking status. This bird is from Hindu and Buddhism and called "Garuda"

It has body of human, and beak, wing, hock, head of eagle, and has a crown on its head. The color is normally red, and the size is considered to be big as to hide the sun.

Garuda is considered as the greatest bird in both Hinduism and Buddhism and it was chosen to be a bird for Bishunu which is the God of Universe.

Sometimes, Garuda is also known as God of the Sun since they believe Garuda moves the sun from East to West by using its wings.

Garuda is the symbol of Thailand and Indonesia, and it can be easily seen on the official document or government building.
