As like other Asian countries in Thailand, they eat noodle very often, too. Also there are 4 kinds of noodle.

Rice noodles are called kuai tiao in Thailand and comes in three varieties:
"Sen yai" is wide flat noodles
"Sen lek" is thin flat noodles
"Sen mi" is round and thin ("vermicelli" in western)

And "Bami" is made from egg and wheat flour and usually sold fresh.

"Wunsen" is extremely thin noodle made from mung bean flour which are sold dried. They are called cellophane noodles in English.

"Khanom Chin" is fresh Thai rice vermicelli made from fermented rice, well-known from dishes such as khanom chin kaeng khiaowan kai (rice noodles with green chicken curry).
